Hey again, i just came across THIS and am wondering if its possible to find water cooling for a clevo (d900f) if any1 has heard anything about it?

And id like some info on something else.. our company (family business) bought a notebook and we would like to sell it since we no longer need such a big one (nobody wants to carry it - its a d900f too just like the one im using, but with lower specs, bought at mysn). Now does anyone know if there is any company in the EU that would buy it (and resell) it or does mysn maby buy back used notebooks if someone knows (it needs to be sold to a company if we want to sell since its owned by the company)?

Wouldn't this limit the portability of a notebook and I for one wouldnt want to be moving a notebook with water cooling it would be like a reinforced water baloon? :D, surely if we are getting into water cooling abilities its time to move to a desktop ?

One question though, how does the average person refill the water?

... in a perfectly sealed chamber none ever escapes. The pressure inside the sealed chamber keeps the molicules from have a disco party and turning into steam.

To answer my second question. From what I was told mySN buys back old and used laptops at least sometimes. But the price you will get with them is much lower then if you sell it on ebay or in this forum's marketplace section. It really should be your last choice if you have an unpopular model which you cannot sell anywhere else.

im not sure if watercooling in laptops would provide enough benefits to counter the cons. extra weight, pump failure, leaks, etc. They really need to work on maximizing air flow with lower noise. plus heat sink designs in laptops suck .
I guess having to design a new heatsink everytime limits their design time to just meat the thermal out put. adding heat sinks your self does wonders.

If Intel could optimize their air jet cooling technology for bigger systems, that could offer some interesting possibilities.
