I have a P170HM3, specs in sig and my webcam has not been working for the past month. I thought maybe it was a driver issue, but after selecting the webcam driver from the CD, it says my webcam is not found. Upon checking device manager, I cannot find anything resembling my Bison webcam.
Anyone know what is up with it?
I am still within my one year warranty, but I would prefer not to have to send my computer in as I am currently out of the country and will not be back until my warranty expires.

Have you tried FN+F10? I think that's the key combo to enable the webcam (it's disabled by default upon every restart/boot up). Enabling the webcam is a FN key combo--that I know for certain.

huh, it works now, I guess it never occurred to me to look for an on/off button for the camera. The thing is, I have never had to press any buttons for the camera to work before, so I do not think its disabled by default on every restart. I must have pushed it on accidentally changing screen brightness.
Thanks a bunch
