Hi, im new here, and first of all sorry for my english.

I bought a Clevo M66SRU, it works perfect. It has VISTA Home Premium original but i change it for a XP SP2 cause some personal job problems.

Ive a BisonCam, it works on vista and xp the first time that ive installed. But yesterday they dont work anymore. It show only a dark screen. I download the lastest drivers from clevo, uninstalling, installing another and another time, even i reinstall the xp. But dont work. The dispositive works fine, i found in everest, windows, drive genius, perfectly. But the dark screen continues appear. Im out of ideas here, right now. I search and search in google, forums, including other manufacturers like acer, etc, that them have the same webcam. But nothing. I try also the properties, like gamma, color, etc.

Someone can help me a little here please? Any ideas will be apretiated.

    Thanks for all

There is a toggle for the camera... FN+(something)

Check your manual for all toggles.

I tried that, thanks for all friends, but im not so stupidy.
Finally, there's the solution to the problem, if someone need it.

The problem. BisonCam comes with an external program that activates the driver. And its made in C++. This program uses a library, also made it with C++, that can be replaced by Visual Studio .NET 2008 (i didnt test it with 2005).
Also, Windows install itself driver that has too many problems.

    The solution, step by step:
    1) Deactivate Webcam with Fn-F10
    2) Remove the controller of Webcam from Panel Control, System, Hardware... etc etc.
    3) Reset
    4) Install Visual NET if u need it.
    5) Reset (not needed but...)
    6) Activate the webcam
    7) Install the lastet drivers, u need download it from the official site of clevo as your model (it didnt work with any model)
    8) Reset (yeah, its not linux!)
    9) Have fun

see u friends, and thanks again.
