    Weird HD TUNE on my M860TU with 7200.4 500GB 7200RPM Drive

    Hello , I purchased new hdd. Its he fastest hdd drive
    Seagate momentus 7200.4 500GB.

    I did ´test in HD tune and HDtach and I got the same weird graph.

    Performance falls after 2 seconds down to 31,9MB/s which I think
    is not good. I have never seen such a graph and I think my drive
    might be faulty. I did quick error scan in HDtune and no errors were found.

    Actually this is quite normal. Happened to me with many different drives.

    What can help is killing many background processes and AV scanners.
    Rerun it a couple of times.

    Yeah, that's normal. I wouldn't worry too much about it.
