yesterday i experienced a weird problem with my backlighting on the stock keyboard. some colors dont work. like when i choose red, the lights just go black, when i choose yellow the keyboard turns green and when i change the color to white the keyboard turns turqouise. also purple just stays blue... has anyone ever experienced this.

So far i have updated the hotkey software to 6.0.0.62 or something but it didnt fix anything.

    could this be hardware related?

you could try reloading the driver from the disk you should have received with the lappy.

Well since I mostly have the backlight off, or on blue it doesnt bug me so much and definitly wouldnt justify me shipping my laptop to england( I live in switzerland) and paying for that plus not having a gaming machine for that time. I just wanted to know if anyone else has ever experienced this problem and could help me somehow....

I've tried reinstalling drivers but that didnt work...

If you're confident doing it you could try reseating the keyboard connector, might be a connection issue.

I might try that if i feel like red... difinitly much better than an RMA.
Are there any instructions for doing this?
