    Hello all!,
I haven't been on in a while and since I was last here I have bought my M570A (5720A) and I have had a few problems and one especially annoying one.

    Problem:
Every so often (once every two weeks) the laptop refuses to start up... the Processor LED and Sun LED on the DJ Pad light up but the time doesn't and more importantly the screen shows nothing! But then I will try starting it up again later in the day and it will come up with no problem! :S

I think it may be an HDD problem because that is a reason why the time couldn't come up... but it could be something else because the BIOS doesn't even start :S

Has anyone had this problem? it is a on-and-off problem but is very annoying when I need to use the laptop for class or something important and it won't start up only to have it work that night (when I dont really need it).

I really need some suggestions! Please reply ASAP!

    Thanks!,
    -TBird

    PS: Chaz plz check PM

Are you sure you are pressing the power button hard enough? I know that with my M560A, which I believe has the same power button as your M570A, I really have to press the power button to get the notebook to turn on.

This is the first time I have heard of this issue.

I'm having the same problem. I have sent it back to get fixed, but they don't find anything wrong, and send it back.

At one stage, they said they changed the RAM, but every 6 months or so I would have the same problem again, which means I lose my computer for about a week to send back to the shop, they send it back to the supplier, they do their thing and send it back and it works again for 6 months, then the cycle repeats itself.

Has anyone else had this problem, or know of a way to prevent it or fix it?
