Every time I get a Clevo I just get speechless.

The design and build quality and all else is awesome!

I am very very Happy, Eurocom Matched the prices of Xotic for me because I wanted a good price and I wanted to order in Canada because of Warranties and such... They Also double checked and I have NO dead pixels at ALL!

They shipped it to me across Canada for 89 dollars AIR and I got it exactly 2 days to the hour that it was shipped.

Every thing about it rocks. Cool, Quiet, and Killer. Come to mind.

I will post a good in depth review in some time to come.

I have to familiarize myself with the notebook... Charlene and I have a nice honeymoon to go to.

    :D

Good to hear, Eurocom is one of the vendors I am considering for my purchase. Had a few users on here complain of bad LCDs but I'm sure it was just a fluke.

I may end up with a d901 just for the quiter fans honestly, but given that i don't really need SLI or multiple HD it's hard to justify.

Oh I wasn't putting it down at all, just saying it's more power than I need!

I'm considering a m570 but I'm just scared of all the loud fan talk ;).

    Hi Duane
on the subject of fans, the M570 seems to do a blowout every so often, otherwise its like the humm of a desktop gaming rig.
    not bad at all,
dont notice the fans playing games,

also I hear a lot of people put down the quality of the speakers in this machine
well......they should try using an Acer :)

the sound is amazing considering whta they have crammed in here, a quick play with the equaliser get the sound bassier :) (is that a real word?)

Happy with my m570ru-u and the 8800gtx seriously kicks butt, averages 142.65FPS on source stress test all at max 8xAA 16xAF at 1920x1200, (my jaw hit the floor)

dexgo -> Congrats with your new lappy, thats one hell of a beast :) Looking forward to see how far you gonna push it :p

Well, the fans in it, says a little, but ive heard worse :) The ramping which is the only really annorying thing about the fans, can be eliminated by the firmware :) Also the speakers as BOFH1971 says, aint that bad as some says, they will do fine for normal use and they can kill the fan noise :p But it aint a built-in Hifi system ;)

    Cheers Naticus
I love this machine, the screen almost seems bigger than 17", mostly because of proximity
when I build desktops there's a fair bit of distance between me and the widescreen 19" tft's everyones ordering these days.

I really can't get over the performance, and how smooth it is.

WTCC Race actually asked me if I wanted to move everything to max settings.
I am not used to games asking me that :)

after a few months , once I am happy that components arent going to fail, I intend to mod the case, starting with some lights for the keyboard, maybe even get a backlit one to fit, I dont know, need to speak to some manufacturers.

it will be a couple of months but you can expect me posting pics and workings on here, because people shouldnt be afraid to mod laptops like we do desktops! :)

I have a couple of ideas, and will draw them up and get a few opinions before putting them into practice , plus I will make sure I can get spare parts "just in case" I break anything :)

The fan noise is a bit of a concern for me because I'm often working in client sites in the same offices as the owners. Speakers I could really care less about, everything sounds like crap when I'm away from my home theatre anyway ;).

well the fans are pretty powerful, shame you can't get a different silent notebook for client sites.
then again in an office, there is background noise anyway, so you may not notice
