    Hi all,

I understand that I will probably need a new CPU for my NP5793 to play GTA IV. The current CPU I have is only C2D 1,83Ghz, which is exactly the minimum requirements so I assume it will lag like hell.

So I am wondering, what kinds of CPU fits into the NP5793? Can anybody make a list or something for me? Thanks in advance.

The processors that are better than yours should be these. There may be a few I have missed out.

T7X00 and T7250 (odd numbers) T7100 should be about the same performance as your current chip.
    T8X00 (odd numbers)
    T9300/9500
    X7800/X7900/X9000

How about the T9400 / T9600? They use the same socket, correct?

    There's a reason why I didn't include the T9400/T9600 or the P series. They don't work.

T9300 is probably best choice when considering performance verses value IMO.
