What coolers are you guys using for any of ther Breeds of the Sager 9850.
My thoughts are with the Zalman NC 2000.Im not sure though as i see the base for this cooler has no holes where the fans are located on the bottom of the Laptop.Be very interested in anyone thoughts.
Still waiting on delivery of my one.Just trying to work out which one to get.
I want long life out of it.Heats going to be a killer for these long term.Any little bit i can get rid of i will.Even considered making my own but i think there must be a science about it.Not just placing Fans where the Laptop fans are.
Great site for feedback on this machine and thanks to everyone that replied to my posts sofar.Al have been enormous help.

It's not really needed (in my case) but I do own a NZXT CRYO LX which fits nicely on this. Pman posted a pic somewhere of one sitting on a M980/9850.

I do not have the Clevo.. one hell of a monster machine though.. :D

But I do have a HDX 18t.. here is my Zalman and pitures..

    http://forum.notebookreview.com/showpost.php?p=5206152&postcount=6532

The bottom of your laptop.. in the attachment.. I would be worried about forcing air flow into the fans blowing out.. Pman is the Boss with regard to knowing this machine though.. maybe he has some vent holes drilled into the bottom or a better idea to get air flowing into the machine.

I hope this helps a lil, JW

The fans suck in from the bottom and blow out the back of the unit, so the zalman would be fine in that regard.

i got the CRYO LX -- the fans are located directly below the intakes of the CPU and GPU.

Its almost as tho its designed for it.

Drops idle temps by up to 10 degees for me over th Zalaman which is around 3-5 degrees

You will regret the purchase for your laptop I returned my NC2000 as it was useless. There were no drop temps with the NC2000 I had better luck 2 eraser blocks as lifts to cool down my laptop.
