I was wondering which WLAN cards the Clevo M865TU supports?
Right now it's running with a Realtek 8187B based card which works just fine under Windows, but has some serious throughput issues under Linux.

I've tried an Intel Pro 3945 and an Intel Pro 4965 but wasn't able to enable them via the Fn+F11 switch on the keyboard.

What WLAN cards have people been using in the M865TU and are known to be working?

The Intel 5300 and 5100 wireless cards work with the M860TU.

Well I came to the conclusion it ain't worth the effort; since I have the 5300AGN i'd better buy a N-draft router since the card from gigabyte doesn't have N.

    Sorry I have the 860etu.

To the OP, my M860TU has the intel 5300AGN in it, and I don't have any issues with wifi on ubuntu 9.04.
