They're a small brand, but generally well respected in terms of quality.

Pretty much, they are often rebranded by Alienware, Voodoo, Hypersonic and all those large boutique brands..

Sager is not rebranded by those companies. Clevo is the company that makes the computers for Sager, Alienware, etc. So the laptops are still the same just the relationship Coriolis posted is mixed up.

Sager are good quality notebooks. I've been very happy with mine.

As stated above, Sagers are 99.9% of the time, rebranded Clevo notebooks.
Clevo makes a wide variety of notebooks, but much of the ones that make it over to the US are their powerful, heavy, graphics intensive, desktop replacements. Alienware and Voodoo then customize the components such as installing a hard drive, ram, etc.. and give it a paintjob, then sell it.. often up to 2-3k! Sager does the samething (but w/o the paintjob) and is ALOT cheaper.. and its the same notebook too!!

Although I think they recently released something that for once, was one of Clevo's lighter noteboks with integrated graphics.

    Clevo makes em all, correct-a-mundo.

Sager has lower prices though, I would buy from them before I would buy an Alienware or Voodoo
