I have a Sager x7200 np9280 with 2 gtx 460m in sli. I play gta 4 and eflc, and there are supposedly better drivers for this game that are not the latest drivers.

Please let me know my options, I'd appreciate sources if possible, or just previous experience with the game/gpu.

    Thanks! :D

The "best drivers" for one person's system might not be the "best drivers" for yours.

What you should do is head over to LaptopVideo2Go as they maintain probably the most comprehensive repository of NVIDIA drivers. Download a few sets as well as the corresponding modified .inf file so your 460 will be supported, and try them out. It's time consuming yes, but it's the only way you can be absolutely certain that you're getting the best software for your system.

Well the "best" drivers to me are always the stable ones from Welcome to NVIDIA - World Leader in Visual Computing Technologies

However, some prefer the more current beta or modded drivers from the laptopvideo2go or the nvidia beta section.

What if your using the GTX560m (in a 8130 if matters) and it says it can't find any compatible hardware when try to install? (noticed others have this problem as well; no idea if all) Just get the Sager ones? or from that site mentioned above?

NVIDIA has yet to offer official support for the GTX 560M, even though their website says you can use them. You need the modified inf from here in order to use either the latest official or beta drivers.

    "NVIDIA Update

In Release 275, NVIDIA Update adds automatic SLI, multi-GPU, and antialiasing (AA) profile updates. These profile updates are automatically downloaded from NVIDIA and silently installed on your PC, keeping it up-to-the-minute with the latest game profiles. When you install a Release 270 or later GeForce driver from Welcome to NVIDIA - World Leader in Visual Computing Technologies, you will be presented with the option to install NVIDIA Update. Click here to learn more about NVIDIA Update."

Automatic Sli? So if I download this driver (275.33), sli will be enabled automatically for games that did not originally support it, like gta 4/eflc?

Might this be my best bet as far as gpu drivers go?
I don't know much about this stuff, that's why I asked.
