As the title states, what brand of 4K monitor is Sager using for their 4K laptops? Thinking about getting one soon, wanted to do some digging on the panel. Thanks!

If you are talking about 17 inch 4K screens that Sager is using, I'm pretty sure Sager and all the other Clevo builders (XMG, Mythlogic, Eurocom, HIDevolution etc) are all using an AUO brand panel (AUO B173ZAN01.0). You can see some info on this panel in this review of the p873DM3 by XMG which uses this 17 inch 4K screen:

The NP8153 is using the Samsung LTN156FL02-101 which is PLS type for 15.6 inch displays but I don't know about the 17.3 in or the others. Also it really depends on the reseller since some are providing LG's 4K which I heard is better but harder to find a reseller with that!

Some people said that 4k monitors are kinda useless for a screen so small, also Windows doesn't scale very well on 4k, anyone can confirm this? (I also want a 4K monitor)

Yes, I can. 4K on a laptop screen sucks for multiple reasons. Never buy a 4K laptop without an opportunity to try before you buy. You'll either like it a lot and be glad you have it or you will absolutely despise it and regret spending your money on it. There's not much in between.

In the next 72 hours I'm going to order my P870DM3 with single Gtx 1080 and a delidded CPU, but I'm having trouble deciding wich display get, I had a bad experience with a TN display (Chi Mei), bad colors, weird faint lines on all the display and a few stains and the other hand I like the IPS display on the original P870DM, would you can give me some advice on the advantages of the 3K display over the 4K one?
I can't try a 4K laptop, laptops here are "new" but obsolete.
