Hi guys, I need some advice about my next laptop.
I've been looking for a clevo with the new GPU's pascal sold by pcspecialist:

    https://www.pcspecialist.co.uk/notebooks/defianceIII-15/

What clevo is it and how are temps?
I've never had a clevo, how reliable is in the long term? I mean keyboard, display and how the gpu can last playing once in a while.

Would you suggest buying on pcspecialist outside the UK?

    At 5.5lb I would expect it's the P650

Its both the 1060 and 1070 model, so its the Clevo P650RP6 and Clevo P650RS depending on the gpu.

OP that's a very good laptop. Should last you well.

    PCspecialist sent me a notice that their P650 - 1070 wasn't in stock :

    Clevo P650RS-G (8GB GTX-1070, i7-6700HQ) - Stock is overdue since 12-08-2016.

(So yes their 1070 is the P650RS-G)

So take note before ordering !

I would be interested in the 1060.

    What clevo is this?

It's 480€ cheaper but for what I should do it's enough. Gaming is not intended as primary use, my steam library includes a lot of retro games and I can play once in a while.

It's the next step down the N155RD/NP7256 series chassis.

I would recommend avoiding those. There is a pretty large disparity in quality between Clevo N series and P series machines, go for a P series if you can.

You're right, yesterday I was reading some reviews and I'm not convinced about the N series. Not easy to maintenance and poor display quality.

Some of the P series models make it easy, some not quite as much. Which N series models are you referring to here? (The N155 and N170 are very easy to maintain.)

I don't know what clevo is it, I meant this: https://www.pcspecialist.co.uk/notebooks/optimusVII-15/

Anyway due to the display quality I've ruled out it.
