    RAM - yup, to 4GB
Proc - yup, within reason, and depending on what you start with
    HDD - yup
GPU - yup, up to the 8800M, beyond that - that's subject to the Heisenberg Uncertainty Principle; i.e., it is in principle unknowable until anything beyond the 8800M becomes available.

Why can some be upgraded? Because they were designed to be. Most laptop GPUs are, in essence, welded to the system they come in, and for all practical purposes cannot be removed; a few, like the 9262 and 5793, have been designed so that the GPU can be disconnected from the mobo and removed entirely from the notebook.

Shyster said everything well.As of 9800GTX speculations remain though I doubt if it would be worth it.

Lets say I start with a T8100 could I upgrade to a X9000? For the Sager NP5793 are all GPU upgradeable or only certain ones?

Not sure if I would even go with "probably" - to me that means more than 50% likely.

I didn't want to add that because I feel like its more of a downgrade... LOL. ;)

Turbo Mem is not worth it and pretty much useless.

Right, but if you get the TM you won`t get the internal Tv Tuner. And vice versa. So I`d consider it a "replaceable" package.

I really hope no one gets the Turbo Mem... its just a waste of space.

Second that. But if TurboMemory 2.0 is better, I would get it,and would then consider it "upgradeable" in the true sense(ie going to a newer version of a product) since I prefer USB tv tuners.

The Clevo M570RU-U uses the latest, backwards compatible MXM format for its GPU. It will almost definitely be able to use the next 9-series GeForce, and probably the 10-series if they make one, as well as any ATi MXM cards.

All the facts point to the GPU being fully upgradeable, for quite some time, since I doubt they will change the MXM format for a while.

All the points point to upgradeability yes, but we`ve been screwed by nvidia before.
The D901C for example cannot use the original mobo with 88M GTX SLI.
It`s good to take everything with a grain of salt.
