    Hello I just ordered a Clevo p170hm and I want to know if it needs a cooler? and how?

    it probably doesn't need one, you can just press "fn+1" and it will max the fans if you need extra cooling, which you probably wont.

    The cooling on this system is actually quite good, so you don't necessarily need one. If you use it for long hours in one place and would like the extra cooling, I use this one on my machine and really like it.

    From all accounts, the P170Hm doesn't need a cooler. If you still would like to get one, be sure to check that the fans will line up with the ports at the bottom of the laptop.

    From my understanding, the Zalman series won't line up. But the Cryo series does.

    Can these coolers be used on your Lap vs setting them up on a desktop? For those of us who are "Couch Potato" gamers, would the coolers you guys have suggested work on your lap? If not, can you link some that would be worthy!

    today i bought a CoolerMaster Notepal U3.it dropped my load temps 8 degrees.very good cooler.
