This is currenlty my favorite model. Many people like it for the 120hz screen but I also am a fan of 3D. Beside the 3D aspect the picture quality is also better picture quality.
Is it capable of running 3yrs, that all depends on what you get into 3yrs from now and future programs/games and how demanding they get. A top of the line computer that is 3yrs old today can still hold its own so this should too.
How you upgrade it in the future depends on what you order to start with. All we can ever know for sure is that the currently offered hardware parts will work. Parts that are released in a year from now may or may not. For example this computer has mSATA slots, a computer that is 2yrs old today would not have the slots for them as that is a newer hardware part.

Jimmy, I am not sure that you will really need to upgrade again in one year, at least not the GPU if you order the higher model now. Though I can say that I am currently looking for GPU's for my system and at the moment if I wanted the best card it will cost me around $800 for a clevo card. The CPU's seem to be going for quite a bit cheaper, and you can check with some companies like rjtech, mythlogic, and malibal for parts to upgrade when the time comes or purchase through certain companies like these as well that will give you a discount on upgrading your machine in the future. That might be something you may want to consider if upgrading your system is something you are set on in the future.

The onkyo speakers aren't for everybody but they're not awful. Not a lot of bass or body to them, but they seem well driven (they can get fairly loud). Trackpad feels fine to me but that's subjective to each their own. :)

Yea the speakers on this system definitely dont have very much body, they are loud but it kinda sounds like they are without bass. I checked to see if the sub at the bottom of the system worked but I have yet to find that out. It doesnt sound like there is any bass IMO. I just need to dig deeper and find out how to fix that.

My Toshiba Qosmio had better sounding integrated speakers, but then again the one on the right blew pretty fast and had a crackling noise anytime the volume went above half.
