I'm curious what others do to their Sager laptops after a clean install.

    Besides drivers,

    1) disable tap to click on the touch pad to preserve my sanity
    2) Move all of the fluff systems folders ("Download", "My Documents", etc) from the SSD to the HDD.
    3) Install Chrome
    4) Install Google Drive
    5) Install Steam

If you're into monitoring temps HWMonitor is one of the first things I put on. Malwarebytes too, just in case.

I guess I should add that I have a ton of portable apps and light weight installers on my google drive. That's what I use to cover my basics (HW monitoring, virus/malware scanners, VLC, etc).

    1) Disable hibernate
    2) Install Foxit reader ( smaller footprint than Adobe )
    3) Install Flash for my YouTube channel.
    4) Install FRAPS
    5) Install NVidia Inspector.
    6) Install my Flight Simulators, hit up the flight attendant for a beer, and start flying :D

You can also change you Page File size. It will default to match your RAM (16GB). On a 128GB SSD thats a bit to be taken up.

    1) Install Windows updates
    2) Move page file from SSD to HD (with 32GB of RAM... Yikes)
    3) Update all drivers and Hotkey (Windows Update breaks something inevitably, usually Hotkey)
    4) Install Chrome, Steam, Origin, uPlay, RTSS, HWiNFO64 and link game directories to my HD instead of SSD.
    5) Disable all idle tasks in task scheduler
    6) Set automatic updates to download but ask me to install so I can review them

This seems really counterproductive? You're better off disabling page file entirely instead.

I have some apps that won't work without it. I can't remember them off the top of my head but Catzilla had suggested disabling the page file since I had so much RAM and a few of my games wouldn't work anymore. So I set it to 16GB on one of my 7200RPM drives. Doesn't really seem to impact performance to be honest but has the best compatibility without sucking up the space on my RAID array

I know, that's why I advocate shrinking page file if you have a lot of RAM, not disabling it. But just so you're aware of this: http://blogs.msdn.com/b/e7/archive/2009/05/05/support-and-q-a-for-solid-state-drives-and.aspx
