This static read-only archive was pulled by NBR forum users between January 20 and January 31, 2022, in an effort to make sure that the valuable technical information that had been posted on the forums is preserved. For current discussions, many NBR forum users moved over to NotebookTalk.net after the shutdown.

    What do you think about the company Prostar? I was looking to see if anyone has had good results with them or bad.

    They are a good vendor... I did get my barebones through them.

    And did a videocard swap when it turned out that my videocard was overheating.... pretty painless.

    I would recommend to look towards:
    - www.xoticpc.com
    - www.powernotebooks.com

    ... for their legendary service/support... as well as good pricing (Xotic price matches ;)).
