Hi i have a m860tu and ive had one hell of a time getting sleep mode working on it. Some Video card drivers stop it working all together with 0 sleep mode. Some seem to let it work 50% of the time (normaly the video card drivers that people say suport sleep mode).
Is it possible that another driver is effecting my sleepmode not working.
My install history is as follows.
Fresh M860tu with Vista 64 bit perchased at launch
-
Installed some Laptopvideo2go drivers.. etc etc quite alot of dif ones
-
Updated to Windows7 64b bit (seemed to continue to use the same drivers as vista 64 so i didnt update them).
-
Used a number of Laptopvideo2go drivers... etc
-
updated wireless driver once
-
now on Dox 165.68 custom release
Any advice ?...
My wireless driver is
Intel(r) WiFi Link 5300 AGN
date: 17/11/2008
Version 12.2.0.11
i also have a vertual Networkadapter (hamachi) running

i use 177.98, it's provided me the best visuals, stability, no problems with sleep, and it's fastttt. this is on a 9800m GT btw.

i think im looking for some thing other than a GFX card driver stopping my sleep mode working 100%of the time... im wondering what other drive it is..
ive tryed all sorts of GFX drivers. to no luck.
<_> want my laptop back
