    Hey,

    I am about to buy a 5796. I was wondering what should I expect driver-wise from xotic or powernotebooks? If I order a computer from them this week, for example, will it ship with every driver updated as of the order date or do they expect to buyer to make sure of this when it arrives? I have seen numerous threads on appropriate drivers for each component and I just wanted to know if I should start downloading and prepping a CD for myself before the notebook arrives.

    if you are purchasing an OS through the vendor, they will usually install the more updated and stable drivers for the system.

    if you are purchasing without an OS, then the system will come with Drivers/Utils CD(s)... which you can use to install on your own for whichever OS you install.

    Or... you can just go to the Sager Support sight and use their drivers, since they try to be up-to-date.
