Well... it's been about a month that the reps just seem to have gone into mute/low profile mode.
What the heck happened? It's rare to have input from them now, it's rare to have heads up, etc etc...
So... what did really happen?
-
I think, from a comment I had from one, that most of them are still dealing with 8660 overflow combined with back-to-school sales and related follow-up with customers. Just as April is silly-season for accountants, I'd imagine late August through September is silly-season for computer sellers.
-
Hmmm... although that might be an explanation, my intuition does not really buys it.
I think something happened in the backstages...
Hmmmmmmmmm... -
shoelace_510 8700M GT inside... ^-^;
Well I think being on this site I've only ever seen 2 or 3 of them to begin with so...
-
Busy with orders, as Shyster1 said, especially now that the OCZ Whitebook and the Clevo M860TU are a big hype.
-
Silence always brings out the conspiracy theorists. I'm sure they are just busy with their, you know, businesses.
-
-
what do you need them for? it's not like your m860tu is cracking, overheating, screen wobbling, hot-keys non-responding, or struggling with the 15% restocking fee.
-
No, I just liked to have them around and they were quit active helping, participating, sharing info and knowledge...
And all of the sudden, some reps are banned and the rest limits their intervention a lot...
I was just wandering if NBR limited them in some way... -

they are busy editing all your posts milcs, full time job

Haha the last section of that link was my fault!

I thought there main purpose was to answer any question people may have if they're having a serious issue or something only a rep from that company could answer.
They probably still monitor this forum although we don't hear from them. I bet all the companies have reps monitoring this and other forums. Dell, Hp, Gateway, Acer, on and on.
What happened to all the representatives around???
