After taking a look at each of the models on xoticpc.com, it seems that there is very little difference between the 9130 and 9150 for a lower spec model. If I wanted to get a 670m and a i7 3610 cpu, the 9130 would run me nearly a full $100 or so cheaper than the 9150, so in that case, are there any other major differences between the 9150 and 9130 that I should be aware of?

The lack of a backlit keyboard is the major difference, that and a lower AC adapter wattage as this laptop is fixed/stuck with the 670M so your option to upgrade later is almost out of the question, unless someone here knows any secrets.

As heihachi_1337 mentioned those are the main differences. The NP9150 also has rubberized coating which gives it a nicer build quality vs the NP9130 with a plastic chassis.

I'm between these too as well. Hard to decide. backlit keyboard means nothing to me, but having the ability to upgrade is nice. Decisions Decisions. :p

Clevo P150EM (Sager NP9150) can run Nvidia GTX 670M, 675M, 680M, Quadro K300M and AMD 7970M. The AC power adapter is bigger in power supply. Clevo P151EM (Sager NP9130) can run Nvidia GTX 670M only.

If you do not want to upgrade your graphic card in the future, it is O.k. to buy Clevo P151EM (Sager NP9130).

Is is still upgradable, you would just have to buy the bigger power supply right?

The components on the motherboard are different so putting in a higher TDP card like those will shorten the life of the motherboard even with a higher AC Adapter. While it might be technically possible its highly recommended not to do it.

I bought a np9130 and returned it! The keyboards are also different between these two models. I couldn't stand the np9130 keyboard.

I upgraded to a np9150 with a steel series keyboard which is no longer available, but over all I am much happier with the finish and different keyboard. Even the backlighting which I didn't care about is fun but offers nothing useful to me.
