I have a seen a review here on NotebookReview.com that says it is 4GB but the specs at rjtech.com place it at 2GB.

The reason I ask is I want to put 4GB in my system (eventually). I just installed Vista on my desktop and upgrading from 2GB to 4GB makes it run like silk.

it can go up to 4 gigs (2 x 2gigs), however its too expensive at the moment to buy 2gig DDR2 for notebooks.... about $450-500 per stick. YIKES.

most of the Clevo resellers can see that the huge price difference would turn people off, so they leave that option off the website. If you want 4 gigs, you can just call them and get it specially customized for you.

Okay, that's good to know. I won't be needing 4GB right away as I will just be playing WoW and running XP on it. But when Vista is more refined I will eventually move to it and want to have the option to expand the memory.

same here, I went back to XP because the gaming performance was noticably worst.

I have 2 gigs of RAM, its plenty for XP and new games.
