Hey guys, I'm not super knowledgeable about computers. I just ordered a sager 9170 with a 7970 card and just came on here and read all of the bad news about enduro and the 7970...
I honestly have no idea what enduro is... I was hoping someone here could explain the problem to me. I hear it will probably be fixed by updated drivers in the future, how long do you think it will be before these drivers come out and fix the problem?

is it really necessary to create a new thread for this? use the search function and read one of the 9 other threads that have all the information in them

Well since he started a thread already I might answer.
In a nutshell, Enduro has issues switching between integrated and dedicated cards, so you sometimes, for some games, have to switch manually. That's all.
It should get resolved within a few driver cycles, but I was more worried about the heat issue, which turned out to be an exaggeration and borderline OCD behavior by hard silicon heads -
And the search function has not worked here in at least the last 2 years or so, maybe longer.

actually the problem is that with enduro enabled performance suffers in a lot of games where your 7970m GPU is near constantly under-utilized. in some games your GPU is seeing usage as low as 60% where it would be 99% with enduro switched off.
there is no fix for this at the moment, so we have to wait for new drivers.
What is this enduro 7970 problem?
