Jesus, this touch pad is ridiculous. Suddenly it starts skipping certain point on the pad, and the mouse goes nuts. Moving all over the screen.

Its basically useless at some points.

Please tell me this is a common thing.

It is a common thing on my laptop. Trying to get used to it though :)
Well not that chaotic as you described it, but it does tend to jump places. Also since I need to re-adapt to 15" chassis I tend to touch the pad with my right hand when typing. Since I wrote this message the mouse jumped once, making to erase almost all the message and retype it :)

Definitely not common. Have you tried a few different revisions of the touchpad drivers? Often times that resolves issues. Otherwise it may just be a bad pad and needs replaced, at which point you'd just contact your reseller and set that RMA up.

Usually it works fine. But sometimes when the computer get hot, I think the touch pad gets affected and goes cray.

When it happens, how hot is the CPU and GPU? And does the touchpad feel hot rather than warm?
