Ok I have finally broke down and went with a x7200. I just cant get myself to deal with alienware/dell ever again. So I went to most of the major US reseller. But is the deal with Origin.... Are their laptops really that awesome!

    Basically what I'm looking is:

Sager NP7280 Custom Laptop (Built on the Clevo X7200)
    - 17.3" FHD 16:9 "Glare Type" Super Clear Ultra Bright LED Glossy Screen (1920x1080)-
    - Intel® Core™ i7-950 (3.06-3.33GHz) 8MB L3 Cache, 4.8 GT/sec QPI, LGA 1366
    - -Stock OEM Thermal Compound
    - SLi ENABLED DUAL (2) 2048MB PCI-Express nVIDIA GTX 480M's (4096MB Total) w/GDDR5 DX11 Video Cards (User Upgradeable)
    - ~ 12,288MB DDR3 1066MHz Memory (3 SODIMM
    - ~Combo 8x8x6x4x Dual Layer DVD +/-R/RW 5x DVD-RAM 24x CD-R/RW Drive w/Softwares
    - ~ 500GB (w/ 4GB SSD Memory) Seagate XT 7200RPM NCQ Hybrid (Serial-ATA II 300 - 32MB Cache)
    - Intel® Ultimate-N 6300 - 802.11A/B/G/N Wireless LAN Module
    - 3 Year Parts & Labor Warranty 24/7 Tech Support

And here are the prices for the resellers I searched:

    RJ Tech: $3,504.00
    XoticPC: $3,668.00
    Malibal: $3,649.00
    lpc-digital: $3.633.00
    Power Notebook: $3,643.00
    Sager: $3,813.00
    Origin: $4,699.00 ()

All are all speced out the same ..... Any ideas why origin is so much higher then the rest?

    Becuase they can.
It's up to the consumer to see what deal is the best for them.

The funny thing is... current owners of OriginPC were once part of the Alienware team ;)

You could probably send the RJTech one's link to some of the others to get a price match if you prefer the support of one of the other sites, I know Xoticpc has an option on their page.

It was founded by ex Alienware guys. Looks like they brought the AW pricing with them though :p I personally would go with XoticPC, with RJTech coming in second. If you want the cheapest price, order from xotic, they will price match.
