Well i was going to order the Sager NP8150 from Malibal in a few weeks but they seem to have ran out of the ATI 6970 the card i was going to get. I was going to get the 6970 because it fit my budget perfectly and was the perfect performance for me. So I heard the ATI 6990 is coming out soon and was wondering if anyone knew how much it would cost or should i try to fit the 485M into my Bugdet. I'm willing to spend $1700-$1800ish dollars maybe slightly more if needed. Any ideas would be greatly appreciated thanks!

that budget is too low for the 8150 if you are trying to get the 485m unless you are getting the stock CPU, RAM, and hard drives. Take a look at the 8130. The 6990 is available for preorder at Mythologic and OriginPC and they go for around 200-300+ upgrade.

Check out XoticPC, think they still have the 6970 upgrade for 65 dollars.

An NP8150 w/ 6990M will fit right into your $1700 budget. Just wait for it.

I checked XoticPC and they don't sell the 6970 anymore either. So the 6990 is cheaper the the 485? I should be able to fit that in my budget right?

If Sager has any left of the 6970M we can get our hands on them. Most likely the ones they had left were due to our orders being cancelled for this card and being upgraded to the 485 or 580M.

Let any of our sales reps know if you are interested in the 6970M and we will be sure to check on it for you. :)

Malibal listed their price which I'm sure is the same price as other reseller. It not cheaper and your going to wait another 3 weeks.
