There are many scattered posts on temperatures, memory test, etc....

Would it be possible for someone to make a short list for me on all the things I should test before 30-day 100% refund time? It would be mighty nice if there were links to the test apps. as well.

    Thanks!

    Congrats on the new machine,

If you want to do some benchmarking and testing, the following would be recommended:
Memory: MemTest86+ (free software, burn ISO onto CD, autoboots)
CPU & Motherboard: Prime95 (use the stress tests)
Videocard: 3DMarck06 (run on default settings)

As for other things, read these:
To Monitor Temps (GPU, CPU, etc...)

as for the Drivers, the stock ones are fine, but you can get slight improvements by using tweaked ones, read this:
    http://forum.notebookreview.com/showthread.php?t=64910

As for hotfixes (such as the Multi Core hotfix), you can install them, although the Multi-Core hotfix wont show an increase in performance from everyday use, but in gaming and 3D modeling/rendering there is a difference [as well as if the program has multi-thread support].
