Hey everyone, I have reformatted and installed operating systems countless times... I wanted to know if anything will be different when installing an OS for the first time though on a new NP8662, and what exactly I need to do.

Will I need to change anything in BIOS or something like that? I just want to install 64 bit Windows 7 RC, and is there anything I need to know besides the typical formatting process?

Also, after installing the OS, what exactly should I do... Install Matrix drivers for cooler HD temps, right? Is there anything else I should do specifically? What programs do I use to check my temps? THanks!

The machine will come with a manual that tells you the procedure - typically it will involve starting it up and immediately going into the BIOS, and change the order of the boot device - you want to boot it with the DVD device. Everything from there should be piece of cake.

    HWMonitor to check temps.
