    Unless you have to have a computer right now I dont see any reason not to wait 2-3 weeks to see what happens, thats up to you though.

    You mentioned you went to go buy the computer, so it sounds like you already had your mind made up on a particular model and configuration so there's really not reason to change that besides the possible GPU refresh which you would get the direct replacement.

    Sorry my bad for not explaining well. I was going to either go for NP8235 and NP8265. Since they're on back order was wondering if they're going to be the same models with just new GPU or is it going to be replaced by a newer model?

    It was just if you could wait for maxwell to hit but with a machine like that you will see a lot of value in the upcoming options new chips or rebrands.

    Maxwell is nVidia's next gen chip architecture, to be included in some of the 800m series GPU's, and likely all of them by the end of this year.
