    Hello,
I just bought a 7970m for my P150HM and i'm curious what driver i should install, should i expect any issues with performance? I thought it was limited to endure which the P150HM doesn't have. I also noticed people installing some "CAP2" thing with the driver. Will i need that?

    Thanks.

12.11 beta driver and it will rock your world. That's it. Cap2 is Catalyst Application Profiles. I haven't needed them so far. AFAIK they're for crossfire.

So if i dont flash it i'll get no display at all? I wasn't expecting to have to flash a card :/

    EDIT: Conversation with reseller
" One Smart Nerd: Hi Kevin how can I help you?
kevin: Hello, are you the only employee there with that alias? 1. I bought a 7970m from you yesterday for my p150hm, will that come with the vbios to work in the p150hm. 2. if not can you do it? 3. when will it ship?
One Smart Nerd: Yes it will come with the correct video BIOS
kevin: i read that since i'm putting it in an HM and not an EM that some of the cards need flashed. However i am guessing you know this already
One Smart Nerd: Yes we've done this before ;)"

Sorry Hutsady, but i ordered it from mythlogic and this was the response i received. Looked to order them from xoticpc but the livechat wouldn't open at my work.

No problem, jaug1337 is right, i believe Mythlogic does it for you ahead of time, and per that chat it looks like you're good to go.

Yeah, don't expect a lot of peripheral work this time of year from the resellers very, very busy.

Also don't forget MSI afterburner to make the most of it ;)

You need the ATI dll file from that version, I believe if you place it in a later version all is fine.
