So, I love my 5790. It works great, except for a few things:
-card reader doesn't work (I've tried up to date drivers, drivers on driver cd, SD and memory stick pro duo cards, often times i'll get a BSoD when putting a card in heh)
-LEDs on the front don't all work (HDD doesn't light up at all, wireless is always on regardless if I turn it off, etc)
This has been this way since I got it, but both of these are pretty minor points since everything else runs great and so I didn't return it right away (I was a pre-order).
Now that I've had it a few months and my excitement has planed off, I'm thinking of returning it to get these things fixed. However, it's not worth it if it's going to be gone for 3 months or something.
So, I guess what I'm asking is, as an estimate, how long do you think it would take to ship, get things fixed, and ship back? I realize this would totally be a guesstimate since actual times will vary all over the place, but I don't even know the ballpark..

A turnaround time frame for that kind of work should be a week, including transit time. It should definitely not take 3 months for that, and if it does you should raise hell and get a new notebook.

What's a good turnaround for RMAing?
