I need new memory as the one I am using is for the M570TU I'm selling.

According to you what is the best memory for clevo laptop ?

    Crucial 2*2 Gb DDR PC-8500 CAS 7 ?
    OCZ - same spec -
    G.Skill - same spec -
    Kingston - same spec -

    Other ?

Which one can reach lowest timing using MEMset ?

    Thanks !

Compatibility wise (not performance) some manufacturers RAM like OCZ is not validated to run in the chassis, whereas Corsair, Kingston, Crucial, Patriot (and others) are :)

Just buy the cheapest available memory. You'll never notice a difference in performance anyway.

Probably just bad luck of the draw. Kingston does have lifetime warranty, just like pretty much any of the other major companies, so at least you can get a new one.

I've been told that the HyperX gets too hot in this machine. Don't do it.

Whatever warranty it has the second modules I got (yes, they were replaced) also failed in memtest.

I managed to pass orthos's memory testing ONLY with the case open so I figured it could only be a heat issue.

Finally I ended up lowering the latencies and now everythink works smoothly.

Just get the cheapest ones and i'm sure you might get that setup easily without paying premim.
