Regarding hinge stability in particular. I'm looking at the Batman 2 and one reviewer wrote this about the P751DM:
"1) The display half of the laptop is flimsy as f*ck and it provides hardly any mechanical support to the LCD panel, which is left to support itself. As a result, even small amounts of movement put strain on the LCD panel causing colour distortion and irregular backlight artefacts. They really should do an aluminium version, it would be amazing."
That's not going to work for me, because I intend to use the laptop on the shaking train![]()
Any thoughts?

Sounds like the housing needs to be tweaked, it shouldn't be that strained at all. It's most likely not mounted correctly. When I got my P377SM-A, the display had a lot of flex and when it went in for its first RMA, I noticed the flex was gone without significant pressure as it should be. True, Clevo machines could use some aluminum, I won't deny that. But they're not as fragile as some would have you believe as long as they're put together right.

Probably the P870DM and P775DM1. The hinge on my P870DM is fine.

No disrespect to the P570WM, but I wouldn't consider that a current model.
