    What's this error mean?

    i just finished playing worl of warcraft and closed the application and it went to a bluescreen and said

    "the video memory manager has encountered a fatal error"

    It means that the video memory manager has encountered a fatal error.

    Try to do some burn-in tests and benchmarks.

    If it continues, try updating the drivers.

    this is the 3rd time its happend. i just changed drivers so hopefully it wont persist..

    as suggested try reinstalling the drivers first.

    i think im just gonna revert back to sagers stock driver 167.44

    Reinstall drivers and uninstall WOW :D


    Do you only get this error msg when playing WOW or other games, too.
    Also, what are your temps? Sounds like something that could also be temperature related.
    Are you doing any overclocking?

    i just got it right after i shut wow. its only wow. i havent been checking the temps. everything is normal. no overclocking or anything.

    leave it to WoW to louse things up.

    Look for fixes from the WoW forums, or did you try new drivers?

    Look forward to move onto the next big thing... backed by Nvidia this summer.
