When I turn it on the numbers before the time start displaying random things (C1, 16....).
Now the computer is turned on and it displays 16. The time is displaying fine. This just happened this morning (it didn't do this yesterday). I tried restarting it a couple of times but it still does it.
Anyone know what's up?

Go into you BIOS, makse sure that the LED time is in 24-hour mode.
Mine did that when I tried to put it in 12-hour mode. -
I turned off my computer, unplugged everything (printer, AC power, M-Audio card) and then started my computer. It doesn't do it anymore.
My things are plugged in again and it works fine. I have no idea what caused this.
Thanks for the reply though. -
Which one?
Is it noticeably better than the on-board sound card?? -
I got the USB Transit M-Audio one.
The sound quality is better but when I'm on certain web pages (like these Notebook forums), if I scroll up or down the page using my mouse wheel I hear a clicking sound from my speakers. This doesn't happen when I don't use the Transit card.
I have the latest drivers for it (out of the two that were available) but I still get this clicking sound when I scroll on these pages.
Overall the sound quality is better and when I listen to my music or watch a movie I can notice the difference. In my opinion this card is worth getting if you want to improve the sound quality from your laptop. It's also very small and easy to carry around with the laptop.
Edit: About the "clicking" sound it makes when I scroll up or down the page. It only happens when I'm listening to music (I use Winamp) and scroll on this page. And it only does it with a few web pages. If I'm not listening to music this doesn't happen.
And it only happens at the top of the page (with the ad). -
I have another question for you Gophn (since you know so much).
When I tried to play Titan Quest it wouldn't recognize the DVD. It told me to go in the Device Manager, under IDE ATA/ATAPI controllers. Find my DVD ROM and go in the properties.
For the game to work it said to change the Transfer Mode from DMA if available to PIO only.
I did that and the game works. But my computer is slowed down (a lot). It takes over 3 minutes for Windows to boot up. If I set it back to DMA if available everything works fine again.
Edit: Nevermind about this. I've read up on it a little. I know why the PIO slows down my computer so much... I have no idea why it told me to put it in PIO only mode in the first place. Works fine now. =D -
