When will there be an Official NP8660 Review

Now that NP8660 reviews have started to trickle in, I was wondering when we can expect an official review?

on topic: Most people are getting them today and tomorrow, so id expect one really soon

 

And here someone goes again creating a topic without placing a question mark, hence making everyone THINK he is making a clear and educational statement when in fact he's as dubious as we are in the suggested title.

Thanks for the confidence Gavin. When we write reviews we tell our opinion of the machine. True we sell it, but I have keyed in on the same points others have. (warm right side of touchpad, fan noise etc.) If you choose not to trust it, that is your prerogative.

 

I believe in Justin's review, I think he is trying to be as honest as possible. No one would want to lie then have products shipped back to them.

 

So when will it be out?

 

Perhaps companies like xotic and PNB just pick the machines they resell carefully so they never have to write bad reviews...

 

are you asking if your second statement was an apology??? i'm having a hard time interpreting it as such.... but in any case...

back on-topic... i'm looking forward to more reviews... my 15.4 Toshiba M35 is dying after 3 years of abuse and my 5796 needs a companion

 

Well I wasn't going around screaming "XOMG DONT BELIEF JUSTIN HEZ JUST TRYING 2 SELL U STUFF" it was, in my mind, a valid, if not irrelevant, question that popped into my head as a way of passing time.

Because you have to admit it is quirky, sellers writing reviews of their own product.

I think most people should try to remember that there are real people behind names in a forum and real characters with reputation and job, before they start making...not wise comments about someone. *

Now, if it was an online game or something, I can understand it.

And a forum is a place for questions to be answered.

Justin has no reason to write a phony review to try and get more people to buy it. I'm sure that people from NBR are but a small fraction of a percent of the people who buy from Xotic, so he wouldn't really gain much business anyway. Additionally, praising the unit without justification or impartiality would discredit future reviews and opinions of his when a true general consensus on the quality of the unit is reached.

To me, everything sounds great so far and has been consistent with the exception of Ad@m's machine.

 

Yeah yeah yeah to all of that, wheres the stinking review already. Look, I didn't order from xotic, so stop fulfilling peoples orders, and give us the review.

but seriously i trust his reviews .. he sells laptops hes quite informed on the needs and desires.
