Most probably March/April 2012 you can expect to see new Clevo laptops with Ivy Bridge

You won't see it until about the middle of next year, maybe longer if there are any delays. The models with optimus/integrated graphics will probably see the big gains from Ivy Bridge, while the dedicated GPU gaming laptops probably won't.

Yeah forget about March. March in Intel speak means June. And be prepared for the premiums.

Intel itself said Q2, so think May at the earliest.

Forget Ivy Bridge. Jump in when the new high-end GPUs come out.

    Agreed with this comment.

I think we can all agree we'd rather wait a few extra months until they get it right the first time it's released.

Unless they skip a series, it will be the next in order. AMD 7xxx series and Nvidia 6xx series.

Their statement will be changed, well, either that or we will have massive problems with the new IB as with the SB (when they got released) massive delays incoming! Too much technological steps are being taken at the current time.. wouldn't be surprised if the January CES 2012, is going to turn out as one of the most awesome CES' yet!

Everything is apparently going down in 2012, besides the CES schedule sessions seems very interested in gaming, and everything to the "cloud" technology..

    A note on new gpus:

not all 7xxx and 6xx are 28nm... some of them are just 40nm rebranded cards with slightly higher clocks. the 7970 is the first 28nm desktop gpu so far, looks like the release date is mid jan.

we have little info on mobile versions so far. both amd and nvidia are playing a rebranding game for their lower end gpus, only 28nm is worth an upgrade over current gen hardware. be careful to check reviews before buying.

I will be at the CES this year, will let you guys know how it goes.

And chances are, Sager is gonna revamp its whole lineup, so you won't be seeing a 'NP 5165' model anymore :) The shell will probably look the same though.
