    Anyone heard anything? I'm about to pull the trigger on purchasing an NP9261. With my luck, the day it arrives with a 7950gtx or 8700gt in the trunk, nVidia will release the the 8800m...

    If you can wait, then I would wait. The 8800m has been confirmed but the released date or specifics have been not.

    The 7950gtx is an awesome card but for me that's in the WinXP/DX9 era. I want my gaming notebook to be in the Vista/DX10 era. Plus, DX10.1 will be released with Vista SP1 so it's unknown how that will affect current DX10 cards on the market.
