The Notebook Review forums were hosted by TechTarget, who shut down them down on January 31, 2022. This static read-only archive was pulled by NBR forum users between January 20 and January 31, 2022, in an effort to make sure that the valuable technical information that had been posted on the forums is preserved. For current discussions, many NBR forum users moved over to NotebookTalk.net after the shutdown.

    With Inetl announcing eGPU support over thunderbolt 3.0, this is a massive game changer for what gaming laptops and even desktops will look like over the next year.



    I'm firmly not buying a new gaming laptop until it supports USB-C Thunderbolt 3.0 support.

    So the big question is, when will they be coming out?!

    DOH!! I mean Thunderbolt in the heading!

    That's if we get proper driver support etc. It may be some time before we see viable solutions.
