    Hello,

Where can I download Hotkey from? I'd like to turn my back-lit keyboard off. I have a P670RE3.

    Thanks.

Your reseller site or our NP81xx series download page should also work.

I would recommend using the Clevo utility from OBSIDIAN-PC. It not only contains the Clevo Control Center but also can help keep the rest of your system drivers up to date.

The problem with downloading the software directly from Clevo is that it comes with the XTU components that can/will mess with the fan tables. The version provided by the Obsidian tool has that part stripped out while retaining the ability to change the keyboard.

Am no fan of backlighted keyboards and most are ' On' by default, having to hit some key once every time after booting. So, instead, with every system that has them I just disconnect its cable from the motherboard's socket, these being separate from that of the keyboard proper. No need for HotKey then, either.
