Greetings![]()
I want to make my favourite "eurocom sky x4c|" as longlasting and easy to carry as i can.
I've decided to switch from i7-8700K to i7-8700T (i don't need overclocking) which will save me 60 Watts and gtx1080 to 2070 which will save about 75 Watts. Hopefully no more jet engine sound while watching youtube.
Now, its time to make a new power charger that won't look like real brick.
The problem is there is no 4pin connector all over the internet. Is there some hidden place i can find it?

They're indeed a bit rare in the wild. But you could purchase a Toshiba Qosmio 180W adapter and get the right plug and a ~40% smaller brick at the same time. Just make sure to opt for a used, original model and not some cheap aftermarket 'compatible' type:
- OEM 19V 9.5A 180W Toshiba PA5084E-1AC3 4PIN Laptop AC Adapter Power Supply
- Toshiba Qosmio X775 17.3" Laptop AC Power Adapter 180W 19V 9.5A PA3546E-1AC3
- Genuine original 180W AC Adapter Charger Toshiba Qosmio X505 X870 X872 ER*

They aren't that rare to find! The name of the connect is: Circular DIN Connectors 4P

https://www.amazon.com/s?k=Circular+DIN+Connectors+4P&rh=n:5739462011&ref=nb_sb_noss
On google you can find loads of stores that sell them -
Those are Kycon KPPX-4P connectors whereas the Clevos (and some Toshibas) use Singatron models. That might not have mattered, but the problem is that they have their genders reversed.
We had a thread about these things some time ago:
4PIN power jack broken -
Many thanks for reply, i'll stick to 180w toshiba's with no need of soldering the connector

Thanks a bunch! -

Never solder the connector by the way, always a new cable soldered into the PCB of the PSU. Don't want your house burning down.
Where can i find 4-pin din connector for Clevo p751
