Is is it just me or I can't seem to find the Clevo W880CU with GTX 480M on Xotic-PC? Did they discontinue it or something? How can they discontinue a new model like that? I was really interested in this machine and was saving up some money! Anyone wanna tell me the backstory?

Any idea why? Was it not selling well or was it full of problems or is a newer model coming?

It was a slower than some in sales. It was not known for problems at all, and of course there is always something coming around the corner... :)

Well, it seems to be available at AVADirect (at least it's listed in the site) so maybe other vendors have it too.

Like Babyhemi said, it was slower in sales than other models. Probably because in a 17" format most people would like to have CF or SLI graphics. On the other hand, you have 15" models (NP8690) with the same/similar specs as W880CU, leaving it a very tiny niche...
