Sounds odd to go down from the current 670m, but where is the GTX 660m ?

A few people have one already.. I don't know that it's officially shipping, but I've seen a review on the Asus section of an Ivy laptop w/ a 660M the person picked up recently from their local Best Buy.

There's plenty of information about it in the Sager/Clevo forum, as well as the Gaming Forum here on NBR.

Edit: here's the Asus review if you're interested http://forum.notebookreview.com/asu...659534-asus-g75vw-ivy-bridge-660m-review.html

I havent seen any 650M/660M with MXM slot. All Samsungs, Clevo W150 etc have it soldered on motherboard.
Im also interested on 650M/660M on P150. I asked Malibal the same question. Still waiting for hes answer.

nVidia is trying to clear out their g116 560m and g114 570m (670) stock so they held off shipping the 660m. The OC headroom puts 660m so close to the 670m they didn't want to cut into sales of their higher-priced card.

    Hey!

He told me that 660M should be available in one week or so.
    So good news indeed.

    Nice. 60$ less than GTX670.
That 75W TDP must be badly overrated. Im sure it consumes about 45W max.

Hmm, can you give me link? How did they measure only card power consumption?

What can we expect in performance differences between the 660M and 670M? I know the 660 is technically less powerful, but as far as overclocking, TDP, etc. What can we expect from it for being a newer architecture?

At stock the 660M perform slightly better than the 570M. When OC it gets around 11300 for 3D Mark Vantage and average is 86 watts while running it.

Many sites list it as a 75W card. Does anyone know how many watts 670M consumes while running 3D Mark Vantage so we can get a comparison?
