    Hello,

i was just wondering if anybody could tell me where is the pantherpoint controller hub ?
Since it can reach pretty high temperatures I'm sure I could do something with it so it doesn't do so anymore.

    thanks

    然后贴上散热片,粘的很牢,那厚度键盘正好压做,这样不会掉安全.

    今天直接拿掉,
    看下图 又贴上了块导热垫,一共2片,
    因为键盘下面是铁皮,所以我直接把热导给键盘.

    </ignore_js_op>

    内存也上了导热垫-----------俺超频2133你董的.
    对以内存我个人测试后发现键盘下面插槽温度比CPU旁边插槽起码底10度以上.

    红框中应该看到我把键盘铁皮用沙比稍微打磨了下.

You know just leaving a gap to let the air flow over it was probably enough, I don't know why the main design has plastic all over it.

It seems to vary a lot for people, it's quite strange.

peak at 87° after several hours of gaming,....I know it's supposed to work as long as the temperatures are below 108°, but still...for me it's not normal and I'm pretty sure that if I don't react now, after 1 year or so, bye bye clevo...so I'm going to cut the thin metal plate above the pch, and manage to lower the temperatures.

the plate is made of plastic not metal, so it shouldnt be a problem :)

My shiny PCH is totally exposed on the back side :D
I even have 2cm distance to the bottom backplate, so I may install a tiny heatsink if I ever want to :D

Well with it being exposed it will get some airflow so is likely fine.

I'm pretty sure that's the sensor yes, worth keeping an eye on it while gaming or doing something particularly IO intensive.

Well they are manufactured on intel's old process nodes that it needs to keep busy so they will tend to be hotter chips than others but be relatively more resilient. They should put a small heatsink on it or connect it via a pad to the case or keyboard.
