    Hello,

Where in Munich i can buy a Clevo notebook? As i remember from my trip to germany this summer, in shops, mostly, i saw a crap, like cheap acers, toshibas and samsungs.

    Thanks.

MySN.de. Speaking from my own and several others' experience - highly recommended.

Get their P502/P702 with 680M or the soon to be released P722 which will have 2 680M in SLI.

In that case, take the AMD 7970M.

Please note that the 7970M is under-performing in games and not running as well as it should, but it still handles 3d CAD software like Solidworks much better than nVIDIA's 680M, and also costs about 300 Euros less than nVIDIA's card.

    Thats good! Thank you.

And how about build quality? Ar those more like a lenovo/apple or cheap acer? :)
    And how satisfied are users?

It's built like a tank, works flawlessly, and has a nice out of the box 2 years warranty. Their customer service is top notch, as well.

And now all I have to do is wait for my cheque that MySN are going to send me for my advertisements of their business... :p

Anyway, a P502 or a P702 with a AMD 7970M and 16GB of RAM will do the trick. You might need a good CPU, but with your budget you'll have to go for a i7-3610QM. Don't worry, though, it's an excellent CPU with just perfect price/performance ratio.

Dude, the A series has a 650M-660M, which is very so-so for CAD. The D series has Intel HD, and CAD will hardly work, if at all.

It doesn't matter that the P is designated as 'gaming' (it's actually designated as Pro, but nevermind), since only the P series has the AMD 7970M, and this card is just what the doctor ordered for edgars - relatively cheap, yet an ace at professional graphic-intensive software like CAD.

He meant that the example you gave him is meant for office, not CAD.
