Anybody has an idea about how to buy these Clevo based laptops in Japan?

So far googling comes up very short on any reliable info ( can find barebones and such, but not much else )

    Thanks

I have a related question. I ordered one of these here in the States, but I'm on my way to Japan. The delays have me concerned. I ordered a month ago and am leaving in two weeks. My question is, what do you think costs, shipping time would be to have family or friends ship it to me in Japan after it arrives? Is it a good idea, or should I just get an off the shelf type and accept it?

You can contact your vendor to see when the exact it will come.

If it comes after you leave, then it might need to be forwarded to you in Japan by your family/friends.

yeah, my vendor, bless their hearts can't seem to tell me exactly. Hopefully it won't happen. Any idea how hard it is or expensive to ship these items?

it should only cost around $70-150 for FedEx... depending on destination (rural or urban).

I have imported and exported many thing from US to Asia... mainly gaming equipment :)
