I'm in the market for my first laptop. I've pretty much settled on a NP6630 after considering an Alienware Area-51 m5550, Dell D820, HP nx7400, or dv6000t.

I'm still going to wait for the Core2 T7200 but now I need to decide where to buy. A look around leads me to these options:
    • Directly from the Sager web site
    • PCTorque (IF and when they decide to offer the 6630 :()
    • PowerNotebooks.com
    • AGearNotebooks.com

Does anyone have any suggestions or comments about these options or have some other recommendation?

PowerNotebooks would be an excellent choice-their reseller rating is stellar and Donald Stratton (owner) is a very polite and helpful guy. To be fair, though, any of the resellers you listed would be fine.

Directly from Sager will cost you more money and give you less options than any other reseller.

I purchased mine from powernotebooks.com and i highly recommend them. Both Donald and Ron were very helpful and patient with my many questions.

I also recommend going through a dealer - personalized service and better pricing. I ordered my Sager from Donald; can't say enough good things about PN. Remember you can always check out a dealer/reseller on www.ResellerRatings.com.

I wonder if the OP ordered his/her Sager - and from whom?
