    Hi,
I'm looking for the Sager/Clevo NP8677 / MODEL NUMBER: P670RE3 BisonCam webcam driver. They have a "Integrated Video Camera Driver" on the Sager website, but it's just a "Webcam Installer" application that doesn't work because there is no actual driver. It just says "No Camera Device" How do I get it back on my computer? I can't use my webcam without it. I tried contacting them and it seems that they have no idea what they are doing. (like most of these foreign laptop companies.. also, the driver CD the laptop came with doesn't even have it!!) Hope you guys are able to help!

You should be able to find it on the CLEVO driver repository.

    Otherwise check the manufacturers website.

Alternatively use windows update or device manager.

You can try: https://drp.su/index.htm it loads all the missing drivers.

I would be able to do that, but I don't have the webcam driver installed..

Have you got the clevo control center installed? It should not need a driver to turn on and windows has a default set of drivers.

It doesn't? And I don't think that I do, where would I install it and what steps would I take in the control center?

Best place to get your basic set of drivers. Control center utility is the one you want just now.

It said it updated the control center but I'm not sure where it's located or what to do next still.

Nope. There are two hidden devices called BisonCam, NB Pro under Imaging Devices, but it says the hardware device is not currently connected to the computer.

I really don't want to have to restore my computer just to fix my webcam. Seems pretty overboard..

Press Fn + Esc. Go under the device tab, make sure it says camera enabled. I don't remember installing any drivers for my webcam on my P650SG either, it just works, and also at 1080p 60fps lel

Doing that does nothing. Also, under the Camera settings, it says it's on, but I don't see the Camera program under there. I need the driver still.. you probably didn't need it because it was already installed.

Wish I could get this fixed soon.. People say the driver is installed with Windows 10? Is that true? Is there any way I can get the driver without restoring/resetting? It's not worth doing all of that and reinstalling stuff just for my webcam..

Yes, it's a native Win 10 driver. Any driver you download and install would be for Windows 7.

If you see the BisonCam under Imagine Devices in your Device Manager, but with that error, still, right click on it and uninstall it, then reboot the computer. In Windows 10, the native driver should be automatically installed.

I just did that and I don't see it now, even with show hidden devices enabled.. I think it was only there because I was trying to install stuff and fix it.

How am I supposed to fix this?!

    It's not a hidden device.

After rebooting, did you try the hotkey again (Fn and F10)?

    What program?

And I've reinstalled Windows again and again on my P650SG countless times, and I'm pretty sure the camera just works.

    The Camera application.

It works for you because you have the driver there when reinstalling. Thing is, I don't have the driver (must have uninstalled it or deleted it trying to fix it one time), and I don't think reinstalling Windows and all my applications is worth it just to fix a webcam. That's why I'm asking where I could find the driver so I don't have to go through that hassle. :-/

I'm probably going to get nowhere with this..

You will need to talk to your reseller at this point, I think it may be a hardware issue.

What does your device manager look like before and after you hit the Fn F10? Does it change anything?

If you've uninstalled the camera, windows will find the driver for you typically.

What all programs have you tried using? Are you getting the same kind of errors across all of them?

I would agree to check with your reseller where you got the computer from. They should be able to help.

Fn + F10 does nothing for me and I see no change in the Device Manager.

I've just tried installing BisonCam drivers from the internet but the ones I found didn't seem to work.

I got it made from Sager/Clevo and I haven't gotten a solution after 17 email replies back and forth, so I doubt they could be of much help.

I guess I'm just going to have to remove everything on my damn laptop just to fix a friggin webcam, aren't I?.. Is there no way I can find these drivers on the internet or anywhere??

Was there a previous point on your computer that it did work, that you might be able to restore it back to possibly?

A clean install of Windows might help if it is a software issue, but would maybe want to see if there are any other solutions before you get to that point. If it is a hardware issue, then it would probably need to go in for a repair.

I don't think I have any restore points, but it would work off and on when I got my laptop and I would uninstall and reboot and it would usually fix it. I'm convinced that I might have deleted some of the files for it by accident, so I don't know what to do. I wish I could just get the driver off some Windows disc or something instead of going through the rest of the hassle that comes along with restoring. It's not worth it just for the webcam. :-(

Could always try an external webcam? If you don't want to sink too much more time in to it, it's not the greatest solution, but you could just get a cheap USB one...

This is also native to Windows 10. If you unpinned it or uninstalled it, you should be able to retrieve it from the Microsoft store for free again.

If you're under warranty, I don't recommend this. Hardware fault would mean you're still stuck with the faulty component(s), even if you gain physical access to troubleshoot things. Then you're left with either putting things back together to ship the system for RMA, or you can ask for the replacement part from your reseller - but if you're under warranty, you can save yourself the hassle and risk to your warranty by getting an RMA.
